“How wonderful! That’s so exciting! I have the brochure in front of me.”
Three RSL Queensland supporters’ lives changed when the first three of 400 prize winners of Draw 400 were called with the news they’d won big.
Samantha* from Queensland’s Granite Belt was over the moon when Craig Hayes, RSL Art Union Head of Lotteries Commercial Operation, told her she’d won first prize – a $3.7 million package including a beachfront penthouse and gold.
In shock initially, Samantha then had the wherewithal to pull out the Draw 400 brochure she’d kept to have another look at her new $3.1 million three-level penthouse on the Gold Coast.
The $3.7 million penthouse and gold
The fully furnished, three-level penthouse in beautiful Bilinga has three bedrooms, three bathrooms + powder room and offers panoramic ocean and hinterland views. It also comes with over $225,000 worth of furniture and appliances. On top of this, Samantha has also won $350,000 in gold!
She can now decide whether to move into Bilinga for the ultimate beach lifestyle, rent out the property and earn an estimated $130,000 per year, or sell it and become an instant millionaire.
The wins kept coming for Samantha. Since she bought a $30 ticket book, Samantha also takes home a bonus $30,000 in gold!
A VIP member and long-time supporter, Samantha and her husband also love their local RSL club – no doubt they may celebrate with a special night out!
Second prize of $100,000 in gold was won by Nick* from Coomera in Queensland, while Peter* from Pine Rivers in Queensland won third prize of a brand new Jeep Cherokee valued at $59,990.
Congratulations, Samantha, Nick and Peter – we wish you all the very best for the future!
Many thanks to you and all who support RSL Art Union. Every ticket sold helps veterans in Queensland and throughout Australia.
