“WHAT DO YOU MEAN I’M THE WINNER?”

You could hear the penny drop in the RSL Art Union office as Head of Lotteries Commercial Operations, Deborah Pescott, made the call to our first winner of 2021.

As the phone rang, Mallory* from Heatherbrae, NSW was inching closer to finding out she was the lucky winner of Draw 382, the ultimate $3 million lifestyle package – a beachfront apartment on the Gold Coast, $1 million in gold and a Porsche Macan valued at $104,500.

When told the news, Mallory was in disbelief, "What do you mean I’m the winner? This isn’t a prank is it?"

The good news didn’t stop there, Mallory’s lucky ticket had been purchased as part of a $50 book, meaning she also walks away with a bonus book buyers prize of $50,000 in gold!

Mallory shared her sentiments as to why she supports the RSL Art Union saying, "I buy tickets because I think the veterans always need more help. If I could buy more tickets, I would.”
